Secret Artist Children’s Competition!
We had an absolutely brilliant time at last night’s Secret Artist Art Exhibition wonderfully organised by FOSS. There was loads of beautiful and wonderfully crafted artwork, but the real stars of the show for us were the artwork produced by the children!
Each child from Reception to Year 6 produced a piece of artwork in school based on the theme Fairy-tales, Myths and Legends. The children produced some absolutely astounding work, and all should be so proud of their achievements. The artwork was then judged by the world-renowned portraitist, Jonathan Yeo, who selected two winners from each class! It was a real privilege to have him so thoughtfully consider each artwork and we thank him for his time.
The winners of the competition then had the honour of having their artwork framed and hung alongside the art donated by members of our community to be bid on! They raised some fantastic money for our school and their artwork looked stunning! Well done everyone!
