Let’s Hug a Tree!
This week children will enjoy books and stories celebrating trees. We twill talk about the importance of trees to our planet and all that they provide from clean air to food and habitation. We will be reading about Katherine Olivia Sessions and her job as a tree hunter in San Diego as well as Nobel peace prize winner Wangari Maathai and her role in the Green Belt Movement. Below are the books each year group will enjoy in the coming week.
