Carols by Candlelight and this morning’s church service

Last night, the whole of KS2 came together to well and truly welcome in the spirit of Christmas. The church was standing room only and the children’s voices were an absolute delight to hear. The
readers confidently strode onto the stage and delivered their lines expertly. As we sang our final few songs, the children’s voices echoed around the church, and I could feel my heart swell with pride and dare I say it just a little bit of emotion.
This morning it was back into church for one last service, more carols, more prayers and even a quick roundup of a year at St Stephen’s through the old photograph album. Thank you to all those parents who joined us, and don’t we just love that Spanish song?
