Ukraine Appeal
Good morning,
With the human suffering being faced by so many in the Ukraine so very much in our hearts and minds, I know that our school community will want to reach out and support those families in need. Today’s Reception Milne cake sale seems like a perfect opportunity to kick start our fundraising with all the proceeds going to DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal https://www.dec.org.uk/
Next week is our Arts Café at 3pm in the main school hall. This is a picture-perfect gallery setting to come and view the fantastic work the children have completed during Arts Week. We will be serving refreshments ( cake donations most welcome) and again all the proceeds from this will be going to the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal – of course the House Captains will be on hand to shake the now obligatory buckets (northern accent please) at the café and throughout the week.
We have also set up an ‘online bucket’ on parentmail where you can make a donation.
I met with the House Captains today and they have unanimously agreed to donate all the money raised from their Mother’s Day Lunch on Sunday, 27th March to the DEC Appeal. A quick reminder that the school hall will become a dining room and that the House Captains will be offering a three course meal with a vegetarian option from 1.00pm onwards. There will also be a cash bar.
Please reserve a table via parentmail £150 per table of 8, £20 per head, £15 per child and £350 for a private dining experience for 14 with wine – child care available before/ during/ after the meal.
