Library News….. Refugee Week

Firstly, a huge thank you to our East Asian community at St Stephens for producing a fantastic wish list of books reflecting their culture. All titles have been purchased and are now available for all children to borrow and enjoy. This week our library topic focuses on ‘Refugee Week’ (20-26 June). We are reading stories about refugees, asylum seekers, journeys and leaving your home during times of trouble. We will be discussing how many famous people we know have refugee status such as Albert Einstein, Mo Farah, Anne Frank, Freddie Mercury and even Superman. Here are some of the stories we will be reading this week…..
