At St Stephen’s C of E Primary School, we have a strong commitment to our Christian values.

We work closely with the London Diocese Board who provides support and an advisory service to the Headteacher and staff. Our close links with St Stephen’s Church and our Vicar Rev Denis Adide who leads weekly Collective Worship and contributes to all areas of school life, ensures our Christian ethos is central to school life. All staff encourage and welcome the involvement of parents and carers in the religious education of their children and the prayer life of the school. Parents are always invited to join us at our services at church.

Our school’s core values of joy, excellence, relationship, respect and nurture are explored in a variety of ways to inspire our children to develop spiritually. R.E is a core subject taught across the school and on a weekly basis. As well as Christianity we also explore the five world faiths. Children learn about religion in a reflective way. They learn to express thoughts and feelings, identify similarities and differences between faiths and show respect for all.

Our Christian values influence how we to look to and interact with the local community, our contribution to charitable endeavours and important global matters. We are proud Christians at St Stephen’s CofE Primary School..
