Hispanic Day 2020
Thankfully travel restrictions did not hold St Stephen’s back today as we were all transported to the Hispanic world! What a wonderful day we had full of Hispanic fun and frolics. Classes enjoyed a jam packed day of activities. Some highlights included drama with Mark where children explored a Spanish folk tale called The Magic Mirror. Miss Whiting treated the children to some salsa classes with a modern twist. Miss Veronica wowed KS2 with Sevilliana dancing. Other classroom activities included making Guatemalan worry dolls, creating a Panama Canal, travel brochure workshops for visiting Uruguay, storytelling, painting Puerto Rican tree frogs and castanet making workshops… the list goes on! Below are a selection of photos from today….more to follow next week when we have had time to gather a wider selection. ¡Esperamos que tengas un fin de semana maravilloso!
