A Friday Night Round Up and Mr Schumm Abseiling!
Good afternoon,
What a wonderful week filled with good food and a great community! Yesterday we started the day with our Harvest Festival service – the first time we have all been together in church since Christmas 2019! The service was filled with joy, laughter and lots of singing – just the way we like it. It did feel rather emotional as ‘I Give Thanks’ rang out through the church! Thank you for all your generous donations, which will be gratefully received by The Upper Room charity for the homeless – my office is literally overflowing!
Last night was our marvelous Family Supper and what an amazing array of food was on display to tickle our taste buds! I can honestly say I ate some of the finest world cuisines last night and returned home rather stuffed! Thank you for the superb food and great company. The Family Supper is a highlight of the school calendar and a wonderful way to meet parents and share food. The adventure playground was literally alive last night with happy children enjoying a run a round in the twilight.
Year 6 had a fantastic week in PGL – the adventure centre they visit in Surrey. Apart from all the stupendous activities such as abseiling, archery, giant swing, raft building, Jacobs’s ladder, rock climbing (and the list goes on) it is always the children’s support of each other and camaraderie that makes it such a special week.
You are never too old to abseil and dance https://youtu.be/YORdXjB9irU
