2nd week back to the Library
This week we enjoyed fabulous lessons celebrating the world’s number one storyteller Roald Dahl with a selection of extracts from The Roald Dahl Treasury. From Matilda to Fantastic Mr Fox, The BFG to James and the Giant Peach, the children never tire of these stories. We chatted about Roald Dahl’s life and we worked out that he would be 104 this year if he were still alive. As it is September some of the older children enjoyed an extract about Roald Dahl’s love of conkers and the secrets of winning a conker war.
