The story for you today is called Charlie Cook’s Favourite Book and it’s one of mine too. Years ago, I even did a class assembly based on this book – maybe with Year 3 (?). Anyway, it’s a lovely story about the adventures you can go on with a good read in your hands, which feels especially appropriate when it’s basically too cold to go outside and do much of anything at all! Brrr.
