National Hair Day- celebrating stories about hairstyles!

Did you know that 1st October was National Hair Day. Since people have had to cut and style their hair for thousands upon thousands of years, you would think that National Hair Day would’ve been at least a few decades old. However, that’s not the case. This holiday was only invented in 2017. Anyway, what a perfect springboard for our Library topic. This week children are enjoying a collection of books celebrating the world of hairstyles- one of the many things that make us unique. From afros to curls, braids to mullets, this weeks collection of stories covers them all!
