Reading Cloud & Refugee Week
We are thrilled with our new digital Library system here at St Stephen’s. Now all children in key stage two have their own personal login and Reading Cloud profile. Children can reserve books, write book reviews, meet authors and browse our entire library catalogue from home. Our class librarians are becoming quite adept at using a scanner and library sessions have become very efficient indeed. This week our library topic focused on Refugee Week. We read stories about refugees, asylum seekers, journeys and leaving your home during times of trouble. The children learnt that many famous people we know have refugee status such as Albert Einstein, Mo Farah, Anne Frank and even Jesus. Here are some of the stories we read…..
